Erró – Portrett

The emphasis of the exhibition is on portraits or characters of well-known individuals that Erró has created from his collage processes. Erró – Portraits is presented in two galleries; in this gallery works depicting legendary figures from fields of history, politic, science and technology, literature, art and music will be on display permanently until the end of summer 2010. In the adjacent gallery, a series of thematic exhibitions will be presented throughout the exhibition period to highlight various genres of portraits.

Science historian Þorsteinn Vilhjálmsson gives an introduction to the scientists and engineers in Erró´s works.

Sunday 13 December 3 p.m.
Hafnarhús – Erró – Portrait
Sigfríður Björnsdóttir music historian leads gests through the world of famous composers in Erró´s paintings, and plays music samples.
