Artist Hildur Bjarnadóttir has been awarded the Culture Awards 2016 in fine arts for her exhibition Ecosystem of Colors at Kjarvalsstaðir - Reykjavík Art Museum. The awards are presented by the newspaper DV.

Ragnar Þórisson: Human Disguise in Gallery-D

The exhibition Human Disguise opens at Reykjavík Art Museum – Hafnarhús on Thursday, 16 March at 17h00.

The exhibition Fantastic Souvenirs, by Anna Hrund Másdóttir, will be on view until Sunday, 12 March. It is the 29th exhibition in the Gallery D series in Hafnarhús. Curator is Yean Fee Quay.

There is chaos and panic in Gallery A at Hafnarhús, Friday, 3 February at 20h00. The structure shakes from the strenuous efforts of a woman which serve no obvious purpose. She runs, jumps, cycles and it appears that the exhibition hall may collapse.
