Exciting course exploring Ragnar Kjartansson's artwork

Reykjavík Art Museum proudly presents a course on Ragnar Kjartansson's artwork ART READY: Ragnar Kjartansson Backstage

It is a four part art course exploring Ragnar Kjartansson's artworks from the perspective of different art forms.
In the artist‘s visual art practice, he draws in the world of music, theater and literature with different connotations. Specialists in each art form will talk about the elements present in Kjartansson‘s work.

Lecturers are Auður Ava Ólafsdóttir art historian, Benidikt Erlingsson actor and director, Elísabet Indra Ragnarsdóttir musicologist and Ragnar Helgi Ólafsson author and artist.

Markús Þór Andrésson, curator of the exhibition God I Fell So Bad, will introduce each theme. The course offers a keen insight into the art of Ragnar Kjartansson but also into art in general. 

Art Ready are short courses organized by the Raykjevík Art Museum for people of all ages. The program offers art historical education as well as training in practical skills.

The course Ragnar Kjartansson Backstage takes place during the second week of September and is in Icelandic. Participation fee is ISK 28.000,-
