Artwork of the Week: Queen of the Jungle

Reykjavík Art Museum is dedicating the year 2019 to public art! And we are bringing artworks that grace our everyday physical world into focus in digital spaces. We will devote seven days to one public artwork at Public Art This Week with its information and images.

This week, we set the spotlight on the mural Queen of the Jungle by Erró from 2015. The artwork is situated on the Sport Center in Austurberg in Breiðholt. At Reykjavík Art Museum Hafnarhús is now on view the exhibition Mao’s World Tour by Erró.
