Symposium and final days of the exhibition KINGDOM – Flora, Fauna, Fable
The Reykjavík Art Museum and the Icelandic Museum of Natural History present a talk in connection to the exhibition KINGDOM – Flora, Fauna, Fable that has been up all summer. Artists who have work in the exhibition share their thoughts about art´s role and possibilities when it comes to interest in and responsibility for earth´s biota. Representatives of the museums will discuss questions concerning the synergy of art and science.
After the talk guests are invited to join the curator for a tour through the exhibition. Please note that this is the last day of the exhibition.

The artworks in the exhibition KINGDOM – Flora, Fauna, Fable are related to the relationship between man and living nature. The exhibition gives the viewer insight into the art of dissimilar artists through their work from recent years and decades, as well as older works from the archives of Reykjavík Art Museum.
The events takes place in Icelandic. Admission included in museum ticket.
