Art classes for children

This summer Reykjavík Art Museum offers art classes for children aged 6-12 years at Kjarvalsstaðir.

The focus will be on getting to know the works and the philosophy of the artist Jóhannes S. Kjarval through play, joy and experiments. We use various media, two- and three-dimensional, and will take the children on a field trips around the neighborhood. The course is held in connection with the exhibition Jóhannes S. Kjarval: Mind and world, now on view at Kjarvalsstaðir.
