Let's Play Art: Family Program
Lets play Art is the title of the Reykjavík Art Museum's family program. In that program children are especially invited to the museum with their parents or relatives to view and experience art through games and fun discussions. Family tours are offered that are tailored to younger audiences through exhibitions in all the museums. There are also art workshops for children and their families where it is fun to create their own artwork together after a visit to the gallery.
NOTE! This winter due to infection control and distance restrictions because of Covid19, it is necessary for each family to register through the museum's booking system on the link above. The maximum participants each time is 5 families arriving. Admission to the museum is valid, but of course it is free admission for children up to the age of 18. The program is children accompanied by adults, the visit is fun and creative togetherness between generations.
