Let's Play Art: Painting the Horizon!
Lets Play Art! First Sunday of every month.
Let‘s paint the horizon! Mountains become valleys and valleys turn into forests in this workshop where families are invited to paint the horizon on a large paper scroll! We´ll find inspiration in twentieth century landscapes on view in the exhibition Kjarval and the 20th Century: When Modernity Anchored. All materials provided with the admission fee, children are welcome free of charge.

Let’s Play Art is the title of the Reykjavík Art Museum’s Family Programme. Children are especially welcome to the museum, with their parents, to look at and experience art through games and interesting discussions.
The program is planned for children accompanied by adults, to ensure that your visit to the museum is quality time spent for the family.
