Families with children are particularly welcome at Reykjavík Art Museum, what can be better than strolling around, looking at art, in a family-friendly environment?

Free entry with admission. Free entry for children accompanied by adults.

There is regular guidance for families, catered towards the younger viewers, as well as art workshops for children and their families where they can create their own art after visiting the museum.

In spring 2019, there are many different workshops on the first Saturday of every month in Kjarvalsstaðir, such as Þingvellir workshop, Op-Art workshop and Flower workshop.

There will also be an Erró Treasure Hunt in Hafnarhús, family guided tours in Ásmundarsafn and orienteering around outdoor art in Klambratún.
