Artist Talk through the exhibition Úngl at Kjarvalsstaðir, which is a mid-career retrospective of Ólöf Nordal's work.

In her work, Ólöf Nordal (b. 1961) attempts to explore and examine the structural material of mythical tales, she looks for things that fall outside the traditional framework and thus become a source of museums and religion. Ólöf‘s work often cast a new light on the events of the present, as well as referencing both the past and the future.
