Sewing circle in Kjarvalsstaðir

Workshop for adults in connection to the exhibition Stiches and Threads. Iryna Suliskova, amaster of Ukrainian folk art, will lead the workshop where participants bring their own work.

In the beginning there will be a short introduction to the exhibition Stiches and Threads.

Iryna Sulikoskva is a master of Ukrainian folk art. She has taken her work to festivals around Ukraine, and her work can be found in museums such as the Toy Museum and the Taras Shevchenko National Museum in Kyiv. She has taught Ukrainian sewing and making of Ukrainian folk dolls.
