App: Reykjavík Art Walk

Reykjavik Art Museum proudly presents a new app where you can access around two hundred public artworks in Reykjavík that the museum takes care of. With this app you can access information on the works, look at images, read texts and listen to audio-guides as well as playing art games.

The app is called Reykjavík Art Walk and it uses your phone’s GPS function to guide you to the nearest public art location. The app contextualizes the pieces for you so you get the full story behind the art.

It is free to download for your smart phone, both android and iOS.
