Þórálfur is the newest member of the Christmas Creature family, which will appear on walls arround the city center in December. Þórálfur is precise, organized and determined, and promotes effective disease prevention in the Yule Lads’ cave. Prior to Christmas, he leaves the cave and has a habit of making unexpected visits to town. During that time, you better keep an eye on your sanitizer and face mask.

As a part of the advent celebration, residents and visitors are invited to take part in a scavenger hunt for the Christmas Creatures. Locate four creatures and answer questions by using the QR codes on the special Christmas Creature signage next to them, or go to www.borginokkar.is All the Christmas Creaturs are on view in the Multi Purpose Room at Hafnarhús.
