Gallery D and Structure and Order

The exhibition Vanishing Crowd by Una Björg Magnúsdóttir will be opened at Reykjavík Art Museum – Hafnarhús on Thursday 16 January at 20h00. Curator is Aldís Snorradóttir.

On the same occasion the exhibition Structure and Order: Draft of Contemporary Art History in Iceland [IV] will be opened in Gallery A. 

Magnúsdóttir is the 40th artist to exhibit her works in the D-hall series which started in 2007. The series aims to give artists a chance to hold their first solo exhibition in a public art museum.  

The exhibition Structure and Order is the fourth in a series of drafts of an Icelandic contemporary art history, based on works from the Reykjavík Art Museum's collection.
