Easter Opening at Reykjavik Art Museum

Jóhannes S. Kjarval: Mind and World, Kjarvalsstaðir

Reykjavik Art Museum will be open during Easter – except for Easter Sunday.

At Ásmundarsafn the exhibition Yearning for Space is about to end. At Kjarvalsstaðir the exhibition Mind and World has been very popular. At Hafnarhús the art museum represents four different exhibitions. The Making of Erró 1955-1964 focuses on how Erró started out as an artist, and in the exhibition Back to the Sandbox several artists discuss what education is about. Envoi by Monika Grzymala is an interesting exhibition mostly made of adhesive tape, and in Gallery D a young artist, Berglind Jóna Hlynsdóttir, has set up her first exhibition in a public museum, named Class Divider.
