Foghorn: A Night of Performances with Tara and Silla

Foghorn: A Night of Performances with Tara and Silla
Event location:
Hafnarhús

Performance here, performance there, performances everywhere! We would like to invite you to Foghorn: A Night of Perfomances with Tara and Silla held as apart of the Performance Nebula festival.

Foghorn is an open-mic-performance night; a night dedicated to performance art, where the stage is open and everyone is welcome to perform. Performers, artists, professionals, amateurs and performance enthusiasts or those of you out there who just want to celebrate life and art - don’t miss out on a night of surprises. Hosts of the night are the artist duo Tara and Silla. They will present the performances throughout the night with their own micro-performance acts. DJ Sley and PSYAKA will spin with the art of tunes, prior, after, in middle and over the performances.

We encourage people to arrive early, because when the list is full the list is full!

Note! It is not required to bring a performance with you or to perform...

Happy Hour at the bar from 18.00 (open until 22).

Tara Njála Ingvarsdóttir (b.1996) and Silfrún Una Guðlaugsdóttir (b.1996) are the artist-duo Tara and Silla. In their work they explore celebration, friendship, communication, playfulnicity, and collaboration. Together and separately they have taken part in many group exhibitions and have held two solo shows in 2020, “Ride the Art” in the Sculpture Garden of the Sculpture Association of Reykjavík and “The Feelings Dinner; Eager Anticipation” in Kaktus in Akureyri.
