Special opening for with autistic people and individuals with sensory processing sensitivities
A special opening will take place at the Reykjavík Art Museum - Hafnarhús, on Tuesday, 25th of January at 17-18.00, for autistic people and individuals with sensory processing sensitivities. Light and sound stimuli will be reduced as well as a museum teacher will be on site.

Reykjavík Art Museum strives to ensure easy accessibility to all museum buildings and make exhibitions and events accessible to everyone. This special opening is part of the collaborative project Let's join hands (Tökum höndum saman) lead by Reykjavik Art Museum and the Reykjavik City Museum. The project received a grant from The Museum Council of Iceland. Let's join hands aims to increase people's access to the museums and welcome all visitors.
