D3 Sigurður Guðjónsson
Breed is a short film about a young man who works on a pig-farm. He attends to driving, slaughtering and other odd chores for the farm. Then the man decides to leave the farm after some unexplained disputes. He takes a young piglet with him and decides to rear it in a cell in his home, but disturbing memories haunt the man. Sigurður Guðjónsson manifests his ideas through moving images that are accompanied by sound effects and music. Breed is a new project and Sigurður is presenting it for the first time as an installation.
Sigurður graduated with a B.A. from Iceland Academy of the Arts in 2003.
