The US Embassy in Iceland has given the Reykjavík Art Museum a substantial grant for the art exhibition Down Иorth: North Atlantic Triennial, which will be set up at Reykjavík Art Museum - Hafnarhús in the autumn of 2022.

The last day of the exhibition Iðavöllur: Icelandic Art in the 21st Century at Hafnarhús is Sunday, 17 October.

The last day of the exhibition As If to Demonstrate an Eclipse with works of Sigrún Sigurðardóttir og Ásmundur Sveinsson at Ásmundarsafn is Sunday, 3 October.

Reykjavík Art Museum announces that applications are open for a new temporary research vacancy on women’s part in Icelandic art history. 

A retrospective of the works of artist Guðný Rósa Ingimarsdóttir, opus-oups, will be opened at Reykjavík Art Museum at Kjarvalsstaðir on Saturday, 2 October at 14h00.
