The exhibition Raw Power will be open at Reykjavík Art Museum Hafnarhús from Thursday, 18 February. Raw Power is a group exhibition by Erró and fifteen other artists.

Ragnar Axelsson's exhibition, Where the World is Melting, will be open in Reykjavík Art Museum – Hafnarhús from Satyurday, 30 January 2021.

Klængur Gunnarsson’s exhibition, Crooked, will be open in Reykjavík Art Museum – Hafnarhús, from Thursday 28 January 2021.

The Imagine Peace Tower in Viðey will be lit again today, on the shortest day of the year at winter solstice. As of tomorrow, the day begins to lengthen again.

Þórálfur is the newest member of the Christmas Creature family, which will appear on walls arround the city center in December. Þórálfur is precise, organized and determined, and promotes effective disease prevention in the Yule Lads’ cave.

Wish Tree is an artwork by Yoko Ono from 1996, in close relation to the Imagine Peace Tower. Every year the tree is placed in selected places in Reykjavík.

Meanwhile our staff is prepairing a new exhibition at Kjarvalsstaðir. Ásmundarsafn is under construction.

This September, Reykjavík Art Museum holds a group exhibition outside the museum walls for the second time. Eight artists present new work in a diverse and original manner around the city and in the public spaces made available through modern technology.
